Traveling to Vilnius

Vilnius Airport is located just a few kilometers from the Old Town. It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach the city center using public transportation, specifically buses 88 or 3G. You can purchase a ticket directly from the driver, costing 1 Eur. Remember to validate your ticket onboard. Alternatively, you can use the Trafi app to buy and validate tickets on your mobile device.

Good news! You can travel from Krakow to Vilnius by train via Warsaw. Just remember, when you reach the Poland-Lithuania border at Mockava train station, you'll need to switch trains. To make things easy, you can buy your tickets online. PKP Intercity allows ticket purchases up to 60 days in advance, while LTGLink allows purchases up to 30 days before travel.

If you're traveling from Sweden or Germany, there are several ferry lines available from Trelleborg, Karlshamn, or Kiel to the seaport city of Klaipėda in Lithuania. From there, you can easily continue your journey to Vilnius by train or bus. You can conveniently purchase your train or bus tickets online.
