One of the hallmark events of the unconference is the famous “Dinner with Strangers”. It takes place on the first evening of the unconference where attendees purposefully decide which “strangers” to meet with over dinner.
This opportunity leads to conversations in small groups of people over dinner, banter and camaraderie, leading to participants getting to know each other and how people in other parts of Europe are practicing agility themselves or with their teams and organizations. It is not surprising that such conversations have resulted in friendships and ongoing professional relationships.
As this year's ALE is happening in a virtual environment, then Dinner with Strangers will also happen virtually. Whether you'll be cooking at home or will have ordered a meal, there will be several virtual dinner tables that you will be able to join.
One of the tables will be dedicated to a completely new activity - "Cooking with Strangers". We will announce the ingredients you will have to prepare in advance and cook a traditional cold beetroot soup together which is a popular summer dish!
